The town fertile soil, makes of it a very well known place for its agriculture. Visitors and citizens are whelmed with richness and varieties of legumes and fruits that can be found there, besides many of the people living there spent by raising and maintaining  farms where natural dairy products are found in abundance.

Fruit cultivation is more profitable than legume one and this is due to the fruit exports market that concentrates mostly on two different fruits, apples and cherries, as for legumes it only help into serving part of the Baskinta daily market consumption.
